Oakline Properties Acquires Mid-Atlantic Affordable Housing Manager ResidentialOne
Oakline Properties has acquired ResidentialOne Management and its maintenance arm PRI, adding over 12,500 affordable housing units to its portfolio.
Oakline Properties just made a significant move in the affordable housing space, announcing the acquisition of ResidentialOne Management — a company that's been quietly doing the work of managing affordable housing in the Mid-Atlantic region for more than 25 years. If you haven't heard of ResidentialOne before, you might know it by its original name, Equity Management, which it operated under before rebranding to Res1 back in 2015.
The deal doesn't stop at just the property management company itself. Oakline also picked up Professional Renovations Inc. (PRI), the affiliated maintenance and inspection services arm of the business. That's a smart add-on — owning the maintenance operation alongside the property management business means Oakline can keep more of the work in-house rather than farming it out to third parties, which can streamline costs and improve service quality for residents.

Based out of Columbia, Maryland, ResidentialOne currently oversees more than 12,500 units spread across 120-plus properties, making it one of the more substantial affordable housing managers in the Mid-Atlantic.
